3ROC Leinster Champions 2014

Colm Moran started the week winning the 3ROC Spring Cup event at Pine Forest last Sunday and finished it by winning the Leinster Championships against a top-class field of international team members at Dysert, Co. Laois, today. He ran the 9.6 km course with 500 metres climb in 84.52, two and a half minutes clear of second-placed Darren Burke (Cork).

Other 3ROC Leinster Champions were Cian May (M14), Una May (W45), Áine Uí Shúilleabháin (W60), Vera Murtagh (W75), Frank Martindale (M75),  Con Carroll (M80),  Seán Rothery (M85).

Second placed were Caoimhe May (W12), Mary O’Connell (W50), John McCullough (M60), Máire Walsh (W65), Brendan McGrath (M65), Trina Cleary (W70), Pat Flanagan (M70),

3rd placed were Oisin May (M10), Brigid Flanagan (W65), Harold White (M70).

John McGrath won the Long entry-on-the-day course, which was not a Championship course.

Well done everyone! A great performance from the youngest classes to the oldest.
