Well done to our prizewinners at last Sunday’s Connacht Championships at Oakport, Knockvicar, Co. Roscommon:  Cuan Riordan (M12), Aidan McCullough (M14), Eoin Riordan (M16), Clodagh Moran (W16), John McCullough (M60), Frank Martindale (M80). Well done everyone, and thanks to SligO for running the event. John McC has your medals.

This weekend we look north for two events: LVO are running a local event with tAidan CROC 1hree courses from 2 to 5 km at Hillsborough Forest on Saturday (start 11.30 to 12.30), the area used for the Irish Relays back in May, and Fingal have a Leinster League event at Carnawaddy, close to Omeath, Co. Louth on Sunday. See details here. Start times 11 to 1. It’s only a little over an hour from the M50. You can see the map and some previous courses here. The forecast is for cold and windy, but dry, so wrap up and run!

Cuan CROCGriffeen-posterOur next event is the following Sunday, November 29th, at Griffeen Park, Lucan: come along and help or run, or both. It’s an introductory event so try to persuade your friends, family, neighbours and workmates to come along.
