3ROC Weekly News 9th December 2014

A few good 3ROC runs last Sunday at the Curragh, notably Cuan Riordan (1st on Yellow by a large margin), and the mother-daughter pair of Mary O’Connell and Clodagh Moran, 1st and 2nd on the Light Green course.  A typical Curragh event – cool and breezy with some controls in the middle of furze thickets, but a good leg-stretcher for everyone, particularly for the Juniors for day 2 of their training weekend. (The Juniors raised over €200 by selling unwanted O-gear too).

This Sunday (December 14th) GEN run a local/come-and-try-it event at Corkagh Park, Clondalkin. Start 11 to 1 pm; courses from 1.5 to 4.2 km. See details here.

Our next 3ROC event is the annual Christmas Score event  on Three Rock on St Stephen’s Day. More details next week. Start times will be 10.30 to 12.00 midday as we want to get home for our dinner too …

In the meantime, how about the GOAL Mile on Christmas Day, or the 3ROC Christmas Day Run on Three Rock Mountain, now in its 37th year or thereabouts …
