Trina makes A final in World Masters

This is NOT Trina!

3ROC’s Trina Cleary has qualified for the W65 class A-Final at the World Masters Orienteering Championships in the Harz Mountains in Germany. The qualification took place over two days with the finals today, Saturday July 7th.

The Harz Mountains were the scene of the 1985 World Championships and, according to trina, the forests are rough but the courses are good and the whole mountain area is lovely.

Trina is one of several 3Rockers at the event: Ronan Cleary (M50), Julie Cleary (W45) and Frank Martindate (M75) are also running, as is Anne May, a lapsed 3Rocker now based in Wales.

After the qualification races the runners are divided into A, B and (maybe) C finals,  depending on the number of runners per class.
