Summer 2017 Orienteering

3ROC orienteering news will be largely on the club Facebook page here over the summer.

… except for drawing the map and processing the results and communicating with you!

There’s plenty of orienteering on, with summer events on weekday evenings from mid-May to late August. Full details are on the IOA fixtures page here. For events in Northern Ireland, see here. There are several urban/sprint orienteering events over the summer so you should give it a try and get your friends, neighbours, family, sports clubs and workmates out as well: Newbridge, Bayside, Dunshaughlin, Skerries, Newcastle …

You’re still in time to enter the Scottish 6-Day at Ballater from 30th July to 5th August; you can follow the Irish teams at some of the big international events (World Championships in Estonia; Junior World Champs in Finland; European Youth Champs in Slovakia); you could consider a weekend at the London City Race in September.
